Experienced chess coach and teacher with over 30 years of competitive and instructional experience, spanning junior high, high school, and adult tournament play. Accomplished tournament competitor with multiple championship titles, including 1st Place Co-Champion at the 1999 National Open Reserve in Las Vegas and team championships at the city and state levels. Dedicated chess instructor with a proven record of student success, guiding elementary, middle school, and high school players to regional and state championships across Texas. Recognized for developing strategic thinking, competitive discipline, and championship-level performance in students of all ages.
